5 piece Hallway set by Pier Luigi Colli

20TH CENTURY FILTH
A highly decorative, five piece hallway set designed by Pier Luigi Colli , Torino, Italy c. 1950.
Included in the set are the mirror (measuring 119 cms tall), a console, coat and hat rack, umbrella stand and a wall hung telephone console.
I cant overstate how rare it is to find the complete set; its in an extremely good condition as its made from forged gilded iron, displaying little trace of use or the passing of time.

Please do contact me for further details.

Pier Luigi Colli (1895 - 1968) studied at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris and returned to Italy in the 1920s to lead the Colli family furniture business.
The family business had been in operation since 1850 and was famous for its fine carpets, fabrics and lighting; Colli furniture pioneered the use of of combined materials including iron, glass, brass and wood, and since the close of the company in 1980 his designs have become highly sought after.

20th Century Filth is run by Sandra Carter who left a career in advertising and life in London for the seafront in St Leonards on Sea; an area already known for it’s antiques and vintage shops.

Having renovated a few properties which fuelled her interest (read: obsession) with all forms of mid-century design, she’s gone from being tasked with hunting down specific items for family, friends and Clients to focusing full time on sourcing beautiful pieces from France, Italy, Germany and the UK.

She offers a variety of antiques and design from late 18th century to the 1980s, but with a specialist interest in mid century lighting.
