DESCRIPTIVES

Every effort is made to provide descriptive text for each item included in our Decorative Collective and Contemporary Collection.

Professional photography is representative of appearance, colour, texture and patina. We also are completely transparent in our item presentations and visually highlight any negative imperfections. Each item is carefully measured to provide overall sizes. Detailed measurements are also available upon request.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATES

Items are shown on the Artem Sachi Hubbert website in British Pounds, Euros and US Dollars and are inclusive of UK value added tax (VAT). As exchange rates fluctuate daily, prices shown in Euros and US Dollars are for indication purposes only.

RESERVATIONS

Items may be reserved for a maximum of 48hrs, after which if confirmation of purchase is not received the item will be released.

PAYMENTS

Invoices issued by email are valid for 7 days from date of emailing, after that time if no payment has been received items will be made available again to other purchasers.

BANK TRANSFER FEES

Any bank charges or fees in connection with making payment to Artem Sachi Hubbert are the clients own and should not be charged to Artem Sachi Hubbert. Any refunds to clients incurring such costs will be borne by the client.

VALUE ADDED TAX

All items included in our Decorative Collective and Contemporary Collection are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate of 20%.

PRESENTATIONS

We welcome clients to Artem Sachi Hubbert HQ to view in reality any item included in our online Decorative Collective and Contemporary Collections.

UNITED KINGDOM WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY SERVICE

Our door-to-door white glove delivery service ensures the safe transportation of items and is carefully executed by one or two person/s depending on item’s size and weight.

All items are photographed / time and date documented to show condition upon release from Artem Satchi Hubbert HQ for direct delivery to destination. Dispatch documentation and imagery furthermore provide confirmation upon arrival that an item has been safely delivered.

Please be kindly advised delivery associated costs are not included in the price of any item in our Decorative Collective or Contemporary Collection and does not extend to internal placement of items.

OVERSEAS DELIVERIES

For overseas deliveries our highly recommend select partner provides an experienced and trusted service. Their all-encompassing service includes specialist packing, crating, insurance and customs clearance. 

COLLECTIONS

Items may be collected from Artem Satchi Hubbert HQ.

Items are photographed / time and date documented as evidence of condition upon collection. Once an item has left our safekeeping, we cannot be responsible for subsequent damage.

VAT – EU & NON-EU CLIENTS

Where delivery of an item/s has been requested to an EU country, the total cost will include UK VAT.

Where delivery of an item/s has been requested to a non-EU country, the total cost will not include VAT.

PURCHASE DISSATISFACTION

Decorative items with age are by their very nature imperfect. These imperfections and patina add depth and strength of character and therefore they are partly why items have been included in our Decorative Collective.

Should an item not meet expectation upon delivery, a return will be considered provided notification by email is received within 24hrs post delivery.

A return must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods by an agreed carrier.

We reserve the right to consider the condition of an item returned and make any deductions if received different condition than departed.

A return condition report will be issued by email within 48 hours after we have received the returned item. A refund excluding return transportation costs will be processed within 7 days.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The client is responsible to us for any damages, losses, costs or expenses suffered by Artem Sachi Hubbert arising out of any breach of these terms and conditions.

If Artem Sachi Hubbert are subject to a request for information about a client and their use of www.artemsachihubbert.com in accordance with any applicable laws or regulations by a governmental, regulatory, self-regulatory, or supervisory authority having jurisdiction over us, we may disclose that information.

Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or affects our responsibility to the client for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and our clients irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

DC LTD ADVICE:

It is the individual Dealers responsibility to make themselves aware of what the Distance Selling Regulation rules contain; these regulations are open to change, may vary and are detailed, so you may wish to familiarise yourself with such via the many websites available to you on this subject.

Your contract of purchase is between the Client and the Seller, not the Decorative Collective Ltd, we are just the introductory agent.  Your rights include, but are not limited to the below.  You must check with each individual Seller what their own terms and conditions are and what their own purchase and returns policy include.  The DC Ltd is not responsible for the description, condition or attribution of an item as we do not have sight of any item and do not have physical ownership of any item, but we do endeavour to only allow professional and experienced dealers onto our website. We do not collect payment or hold such unless specifically agreed prior to purchase and then only as Agent do we hold funds, which are held by the DC Ltd until both parties have confirmed such can be released.  If such funds are held and an item is returned, release back to the client of such funds, will be subject to the Seller confirming the item has been returned according to their returns policy.  Items are not released to the Buyer until the agreed payment is received by the DC Ltd.  The DC Ltd is not responsible for any related bank charges, transfer fees, currency fluctuations or otherwise.  For more details on this facility, please contact owner Jane Walton at info@decorativecollective.com.

You have the right to return items purchased via the internet up to 14 days following receipt of the item to the specified delivery address. If you collect an item in person or arrange your own delivery, then this term starts immediataely you or your carrier collects the item (this is to avoid your own carrier sitting on the item for a long time before delivering it).

WHAT WE RECOMMEND:

Always ask for an invoice from the Seller.  On the invoice you should have the date of the item, any provence, full description, including any restoration or damage.  It should state terms of payment and delivery and returns. It should also show the business name, business address, contact numbers, email address and VAT number if applicable.

You should ask for confirmation of your purchase by email so that you have written proof of the agreed price, any additional charges, eg delivery and if you are having the item delivered, ask how and who will be undertaking it and what the Sellers return policy is. 

Ask for email confirmation of what your responsibilities are should you wish to return an item, including re-packing, how you must confirm your desire to return the item, eg email or by telephone and be clear on the Seller's return policy.

The prices indicated for items on this site are correct at the time the item is listed, barring any error by the Seller.  However, the Euro and Dollar prices shown are for indication only and may vary as rates fluctuate and you may incur your own bank charges when making payment from abroad.

VERY IMPORTANT:

Some of our Dealers (Sellers) are based in Europe so you may need to qualify with them their specific purchase and returns policies.  However Distance Selling Regulations apply througout Europe as far as the DC Ltd is aware.

Please do not be concerned about the above statements.  They are there to help and protect both parties and should help to avoid any disputes by making things clear.  The owner of this site, Jane Walton, is always happy to help and assist where possible and clients are very welcome to contact Jane should they need advice or assistance.  Being a dealer herself for 16 years, she knows that most dealers are good, hardworking and professional people who understand the rules and how to be polite and helpful to clients at all times.  They can help you obtain shipping or transport quotes for example.  Never be worried about speaking to a Dealer and asking as many questions as you need to about an item, they wil be happy to help you. Please do remember though, that they will always be more receptive to clients who show them the same respect.
