1971, 'Baked Fish with Lemons', Hans Larsson

BARNSTAR
1971, oil painting, 'Baked Fish with Lemons', Hans Larsson.

Thick, juicy application of paint, like mackerel pâté on a chunky slice of rye bread. Fabulous colours from bottle green to an almost neon ice blue. Lemon yellows and chocolate sauce in this, part abstract, part cubist, painting.
