Late William IV Reclining Library Armchair

A magnficent and rare, William IV Reclining library armchair. Mahogany frame, upholstered in "nutty brown" leather, with a deep buttoned back and brass stud work. It has beautiful, turned front legs and splayed back legs, with the original, chunky brass castors. Beneath the two upholstered arms are hinged levers, which when raised together allow the back to recline. There is also a retractable foot board, providing ultimate comfort to this sturdy, handsome and important piece.
