A fine pair of Hepplewhite side chairs Circa 1790

CHAIRMAN ANTIQUES
A fine pair of mahogany Hepplewhite chairs of good country house proportions with cut velvet seat coverings and tapered front legs made by a cabinet maker during the late George III period. Hepplewhite's "The Cabinet Maker and Upholsterers Guide" was published posthumously by his wife Alice in 1788, Hepplewhite furniture dates from about 1780-1810. It is of neoclassic style and falls within the Federal period in the United States. These chairs are believed to be American. Stunning condition, colour and cloth.
