A Swiss Pewter Wine Jug with turned lid

CHAIRMAN ANTIQUES
An exceptional Swiss pewter wine jug, dated 1688, in superb condtion for it's age, the lid unscrews as it should and the spout cover lifts up too. With a British Antique Dealer's Association transfer to the lid which is believed to be from around 1950. (The BADA was formed in 1918). We believe it formed part of a collection historically sold at Sotheby's.
