18thc Carpathian Shepherds chest

The oldest Carpathian chest we have found. Left in its original bleached out finish. This piece of Carpathian folk art from the 1700's constructed of beech with spiral carving and later repairs. The base has been replaced in its past but thankfully someone cared enough to do so. A lovely example of European folkart 38"x 19" x 18"h.
