Lovely 18th Century Swedish secretary with a clock face design.
The top pediment contains a clock behind convex glass which is unusual in both style and use.
Below the pediment, there are two paneled doors that open to a variety of storage space and includes a central space for the clock weights and pendulums. There is also a fall front door that opens to reveal the secretary's writing area and further storage.
To the very bottom of this piece, you will find even further storage which consists of six equally sized drawers and a central cupboard.
The whole has been later re-painted and has been finished in clean paint with copper tones throughout.
This is a fantastic piece of storage furniture that will be useful for years to come!
