Brass Inlaid Rosewood Wardrobe c.1860.

Fine quality mid 19th.c. brass inlaid rosewood wardrobe or linen press c.1860. Useful narrow dimensions, ideal as a hall piece perhaps. Single door wardrobe with long dressing mirror to the door and fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (depth 15½”), over two useful drawers in the base. A particularly good looking example of the form with beautifully figured rosewood veneers with fine brass inlay to the front and sides. Stepped ogee cornice, moulded mirror frame, rounded front corners and attractively shaped and inlaid front feet. Satinwood lined interior, brass inlaid rosewood shelf fronts, quality locks. Superb colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Could be fitted with a hanging rail if preferred. Key supplied.
