Early 20th.c. Oak Refectory Table & Benches c.1900

Superb early 20th.c. oak refectory table and benches c.1900. Three meters or very nearly 10 feet long – big enough to seat six down each side. In solid oak throughout, top made of three massive 3″ thick planks. Raised on attractively shaped ends with moulded tops and feet and a baluster silhouette column. With a long stretcher joined to the ends with a through tenon and tusk joint and braced in the centre for extra strength. Together with a pair of 11½” wide benches of matching design and the same length as table. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Owner Nicky Collinge runs Collinge Antiques, has been dealing in antiques for over 30 years.

They are based in a large warehouse showroom in Llandudno Junction, North Wales, where they have an extensive and ever changing stock of genuine antiques.

As well as furniture from Georgian to Edwardian periods, and a special interest in Welsh pieces, they regularly deal in clocks, barometers, glass, silver, mirrors, militaria, paintings, bronzes, porcelain and have even sold vintage motorbikes and tractors!
