Antique Afghan prayer rug of unusual compartment design with a rams horn mihrab.



The rug is woven with exceptionally soft camel coloured wool giving the rug a soft colour palette. The rug is divided in to four compartments with a rams horn mihrab above. The hand placements on either side contain simple stylised hands. The rug retains the original kilim end finish at both ends.



A charming little prayer rug.



The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile.



The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.



The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
