David Tupman began dealing antiques in 1976. Since then he has had a shop on Church Street, London, a permanent stall in Kensington market and displayed and sold at Olympia Antiques Fair and The Decorative Fair, Battersea. He also, until recently owned and managed an antiques showroom in Somerset, furthering his talents and passion for wine and coffee.
His passion for antiques has not dulled, although the ivory ban and online auctions have made business more difficult. He has since sold 'The Factory' antique showroom and continues to deal independently, travelling abroad far and wide in search of new treasures as often as he can.
