1970s Rolling Stones Banned "Some Girls" Poster

Original 1978 promotional poster for the Rolling Stones 'Some Girls' album.

This original cover designed by Peter Corriston featured many female celebrities like Lucille Ball, Raquel Welch and Elizabeth Taylor. However, Lucille Ball among many of the women was so unhappy with being featured that this cover was withdrawn and replaced with the band dressed up instead. This is therefore a rare poster example of the original banned cover.

First edition colour offset lithograph.
