This exceptional chic antique bottle green leather stationery attaché case is fully fitted with gilded notebooks, envelopes and paper, pens, an integral travelling inkwell, a sliding mahogany-lined compartment for nibs and stamps. All cleverly fit together and the brass lock has the original key. Discreet gold embossed maker's name in the interior: E. & M. A. GIBBS RYDE (There is a record of a Stationer and Bookseller by that name in the Isle of Wight in 1868.)
