Antique Angled Wardle Prismalux Bulkheads x10

A good run of 10 antique Wardle Prismalux bulkhead light fittings with cast iron bodies angled to direct light downward somewhat and prismatic glass lenses in original paint.
They have been carefully stripped of outer paint layers to keep as much of the original green paint as possible.
Then cleaned, polished and waxed outside and in. They have been fitted with new brass split pins as a few of the old split pins had broken.
All with original porcelain lampholders (bayonet cap) and enamelled steel reflectors. All fitted with an earthing point.
They come with a 20mm female conduit outlet making them ready to attach to standard 20mm steel conduit or a 20mm conduit cord grip or cable gland.
They can be supplied with cast brass "keys" as shown in the photos.
No damage to the glass or cast bodies.
Dimensions in inches/cms;
10"/26cms tall ( not including adaptors )
7"/18cms wide including hinges and locks.
approx 6.5"/16.5 cms max height or projection (5.25"/13cms minimum)
Quite a rare light fitting in beautiful original paint.

Edward Haes has been dealing in architectural elements and antiques for the past 20 years, initially sourcing most of his stock from disused public buildings and demolition sites.  Some of his architectural pieces can be found on The Hoarde.

He enjoyed the social history of these places and wishes all his later purchases could have the same perfect provenance.

He continues to buy a diverse range of antiques, with a speciality in lighting, mainly from the UK and sells to dealers, commercial and private clients. He is happy to “tune in” to customers projects and help advise on selecting  the correct pieces.
