Thomas Elsley Fire Grate - Aesop Fable

A late 19th century cast and wrought iron dog grate by Thomas Elsley (marked to back) depicting the fable of the Fox and Crane, the bow fronted grate with scrolled supports. In excellent condition. Cleaned and waxed. No rust.

Max depth is 13"/33cm.
Useable space inside grate;
