Antique Velvet Upholstered Occasional Armchair

HAND OF GLORY
A very pretty Antique occasional or bedroom chair, the square shaped back with a roll edge over a sprung seat and raised on mahogany turned front legs with original brass and porcelain castors. Newly upholstered in a combination blue patterned Anthology velvet from The Style Library and a plain petrol blue velvet with a contrasting buttoned border.

A very comfortable little chair of small proportions with contract grade fabric for durability.

71cm high, the seat 58cm wide at the front, 53cm deep and 33cm high.

With a lifelong passion for the subject, Lisa has worked in the word of art and antiques for over 25 years.  Sixteen of these were spent as a Director of an Auctioneers in London before moving to South West France with her husband Marc Allum to restore a rambling 17th Century Chateau, which they used as base to host art and antique holidays. 
 
After returning to the UK in 2012, Hand of Glory was born, offering an eclectic mix of antiques, objects and.... in the words of John Tradescant; 'anything strang (sic)'
 
In addition to running Hand of Glory, Lisa also writes for various magazines.
 
Clients are welcome to view pieces at the shop opened in November 2019 at 34 Market Place, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN15 3HP. Opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Other times by appointment.
