A large fish dish by Gustave Reynaud

INGLIS HALL ANTIQUES
A large fish platter by Gustave Reynaud (1915-1972 French) with crackled glaze and tree design. Reynaud founded the pottery Le Mûrier (Mulberry Tree) in Vallauris in 1955 and produced crockery designed by his brother-in-law Jean Derval as well as vases, wall plaques and anthropomorphic jugs. A great large decorative example from the golden age of Vallauris Pottery with great glazes and playful motif, this plate would look great on the table or on your wall or dresser.
