JOLLY FOLKE FURNITURE is a small business that aims to provide a friendly personal service. Having enjoyed my art education in London, following College I dealt at antique markets in London and Europe.
When the Berlin wall came down, I began buying from the former Eastern Bloc and started selling in Belgium, France and Holland, eventually settling in north Lancashire. I purchased privately, mainly selling to the trade and this is where my appreciation of provincial country furniture developed to become the core of the present business.
I am assisted by my partner Peter, with help from my Sons.
