A pair of bronze Buddha table lamps. c1970

An unusual pair of standing Buddha table lamps with recovered original pagoda shades. Each Buddha stands with another smaller on a rocky outcrop. One with a deer and the other with a stock - both animals are symbolic to Buddhism and are represented in stories of the Life of Buddha. They are heavy and well cast in bronze with good crisp detail. They date from c1970. Overall height to top of the shade is 73cm and the height to the light fitting is 50cm. Rewired and PAT tested.
