This extremely interesting and rare 19th century book by Billy Edwards on Pugilism is a Portrait Gallery of Pugilists of England, America, Australia from James J. Corbett running back to Tom Sayers.

Published by London and Philadelphia Pugilistic Publishing Co. in 1894, this 1st ed hardback, with biographical sketches and authentic records of their victories and defeats embracing the men of note of all nations connected with the Pugilistic arena.

A very good copy of this rare early book on pugilism with 96 plates measuring 14" x 11" that portray fighters from the United States, England and Australia.

Size: 37.5 cm (14 3/4") x 29.5 cm (11 1/2").

Date: c1894.

Weight: 1820 grams.

Condition: Good used antique condition with some wear, small tears to edges, light creasing, signs of use, light staining and smudge marks to some pages. No missing pages or bad damage. Please see pictures
