A pair of Antique French Oak Chateau Doors with Transom. Circa 18th century. Solid large exterior doors hand-carved in oak with original transom. These doors and transom would have originally belonged to a french chateau
the main doors have the original wrought iron grilles with scroll and leaf design. behind all the iron grills there are hinged opening glass windows .The door has its original pale blue/white worn paint
there are handles and catches to the front and rear. The bottom edge of the doors has some historical wear, which you can see in the photographs. These are beautiful, a truly stunning pair of heavy original antique oak doors
