Item Description
18th Century French painted bombe commode with two drawers. Having painted cross banding and inlay to the top and fine painted inlay and decoration to the drawers. The sides are panelled with the same designs as the drawers. Below is a scalloped apron and standing on splayed cabriole legs.
The commode is 18th Century and the decoration has been added in the 19th Century.
Very difficult to find one like this with such perfect shape and proportions, wonderful colours and original metal work.
