A French Louis XV style gilt armchair, or fauteuil

A French Louis XV style gilt armchair, or fauteuil. Fluted part-upholstered arms, carved foliate to the back, overstuffed seats and cabriole legs. French, circa 1900.

Condition: Gilding generally very good, a little worn to the ends of the arms, the ends of the legs have been touched up with gold paint (not by us). The yellow silk is a little stained to the seats and the arms are worn through, the upholstery and springs are in good shape so they are ready to recover.
