Boxed Travelling Chess & Draughts Set

Boxed Travelling Chess & Draughts Set. The well patinated box is decorated with faux rosewood and opens to a silk lined interior. The folding tambour games board is boxwood and cedar inlaid within a rosewood border and the well carved chess and draughts pieces are ivory and red stained ivory and are probably Indian Colonial. The box and board, French, circa 1880 – 1910.
