Marquetry Inlaid Satinwood Cabinet By Shoolbred

This exceptional quality item is by top furniture manufacturer Jas Shoolbred.
A highly respected maker in the trade, James Shoolbred and Company was located on Tottenham Court Road, London.
The store was established in the 1820s at 155 Tottenham Court Road selling textiles for home furnishing. In the 1870s the store began designing, manufacturing and selling high quality furniture.
This cabinet has a polished satin top over a fine marquetry frieze.
With a bowed glass door which opens to access the 2 removable glass shelves and there are 2 small drawers inside too.
Beautiful marquetry inlaid panels at the bottom, and stood on 4 carved cabriole scroll legs with hoof feet.
This cabinet is in showroom condition, boasting a superior satinwood colour.
