Walnut Breakfast Table By Holland & Sons

A fine English tip top breakfast table by reputable furniture makers Holland & Sons.
The Holland & Sons firm was one of the largest and most successful cabinet makers of their time (1803-1942).
They were granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment early in the reign of Queen Victoria, they had already taken a leading part in the decoration and furnishing of Osborne House, Sandringham House, Balmoral Castle, Windsor Castle and the apartments of the Prince and Princess of Wales at Marlborough House, executing numerous exceptional pieces of furniture. Holland and Sons also executed over three hundred separate commissions for the British Government, including the Palace of Westminster.

This table is very well made, with a superb colour and patina walnut, the table top comes off its base and is secured with bolts and a wooden support for when its in the tilted position.
Beautiful carved base and legs.
