Magnificent framed high quality religious painting

MODERN DECORATIVE
A loving gift dedicated to a mother by her daughter, this magnificent tapestry depicts a Saint reading a Bible, surrounded by idyllic scenery. To the right of the composition is an apple tree, traditionally known as the ‘Tree of Love’ as well as symbolising good health and future happiness. Loaded with symbolism and care, this beautiful piece is framed in ornate black and gold to add to the pure elegance and esteem.

Inscribed: ‘Dedicado a la memoria de Mrs Benita Claret Decastante Q. E. P. D. por su humilde hija Manuelita Cascante y Claret en 7 Junio de 1856.’

Translation: ‘Dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Benita Claret Decastante R. I. P. by her humble daughter Manuelita Cascante y Claret on June 7, 1856.’

I am advised in my acquisitions by my father, Gary Jackson, who has over 35 years experience in the trade and is now a full-time painter.
