This intimate landscape is painted in the typical, delicate style of this 19th century British artist. James Edward Grace exhibited widely in the UK during the late 19th century, showing at the Royal Academy, the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and Manchester City Art Gallery, amongst many others. An oil painting by the artist has sold for nearly £3,000 at Christie's and his watercolours have sold for over £1,000. A real collectors piece.
