1920s Rondini Tapestry by F. Dal Pozzo

Framed Rondini (Swallows) Tapestry of multi-colored woolen fabric of secessionist taste by Francesco Dal Pozzo.

Interesting and varied his artistic career. At a young age he studied sculpture in Bologna at lalocale Academy of Fine Arts. In 1914 he moves to Milan, where it approaches the artists belonging to the movement of "Twentieth Century", in particular he became a friend delpittore Dudreville. He was a painter, fresco painter, mosaicist and scenografo.Verso 1920 about his attention turns decorative art and is manifested by the performance of the panels he designed, which are finished, the Embroidery, by skilled workers. Because of these achievements he has received numerous awards, participating in the most important rassegneinternazionali of Decorative Arts. From 1927 to 1929 he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bangkok; During this experience he deepened his studies on the eastern, devoting himself especially to engraving on wood.
On his return to Italy he devoted himself with renewed energy to various painting techniques: frescoes in the church Antria, Arezzo; mosaics (Stella Maris Punta Chiappa and Bishop Fruttuoso San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte). Then proceeded to the scene working with maestro Scuderi alla Scala in Milan.

It is present in numerous exhibitions both nationally and internationally: various editions of the Biennale di Venezia, where he exhibited, also, a Siamese woodcuts folder; invited to the first Roman Quadrennial, she gets critical lusinghiere.Sue solo exhibitions also in Bangkok and in Paris (at the Bernheim Jenme and at the Salon d'Automne).
Since 1935 he sojourned in Camogli, devoting himself in particular to the marine landscape. From 1939 to 1944 obtains the appointment of the Secretary of the Inter-Trade Union of Fine Arts Lombardia.Sue works at the print collection of the Castello di Milano; Municipality of Bologna; The library of the Venice Biennale; City of Genoa; town of Camogli and many qualified private collections.
