Antique French gilt mirror with bow

ON REFLECTION MIRRORS
Classically elegant, late 19th century French mirror with narrow, outcurved, watergilt frame with beaded sight edge (edge closest to the glass) and bow cartouche. The original, bevelled, glass has a little, very light, age and is in very good condition. (The line showing horizontally across the mirror glass is a reflection of the join in the blind opposite the mirror.)

Clients are welcome to view our mirrors in person at our showroom in Dorset, but please telephone to make arrangements first.  You can also meet Alison and Allan Roelich at the Decorative Fair in London where they exhibit three times a year.

Our mirrors are cleaned and sympathetically restored only where necessary, using traditional materials so that each one keeps its character.  We believe in retaining their originality and do not replace the original antique mirror glass with new glass.
