An 18th Century French Marble Top Console Table

PAPPILON
A superb 18th-century French marble-topped console table. A fabulous example of 18th-century craftsmanship, featuring original paintwork throughout displaying subtle blue and grey tones with original gilding to the pierced and carved base.
This console table displays a later added 19th century shaped marble top and faux marble back support. Raised on scrolling supports united by an elegantly shaped stretcher.

This doesn't simply mean we stick with the old but the ethos of what we stand for is that even antiques for the future should have a consideration to its longevity and quality as well as its style.

We source pre-loved and sometimes tired pieces of furniture and items from many locations around the UK and in and around Europe. We lovingly restore each piece and sympathetically bring it back to life either by injecting it into the 21st century or restoring it back to its original state.
