Rare George I Carved and Giltwood Pier Glass

PAUL MARTIN THE TABLE GALLERY
English George I carved and giltwood Pier glass, circa 1770, Beveled glass plate flanked by scrolls and Native American masks, in the manor of James Moore. Some small gilt losses and there is an historic crack running across the plate in the top quarter, although this doesn't deter from the amazing quality and rareness of this country house piece. Height 42ins, width 27ins.

  • W: 67cm (26.38in)
