A beautiful 19th century French Empire cherrywood commode. Three main drawers with traditional antiqued brass handles and escutcheons, the fourth top drawer is opened from dished grooves beneath the drawer front, all oak lined, fit well and run smoothly. The front sides are flanked with two uprising turned wood columns. The original panelled back is strong and sound, the overall quality superb.
