Item Description
A late 18th century serving table/dresser base. This gorgeous piece is an original.
Made circa 1780 from English elm now seasoned to a deep rich colour with historical patina. The top has one long solid elm timber above three deep drawers, each drawer retaining its original swans neck handle and brass escutcheon. A decorative grooved moulding runs the length of this period piece below the three drawers, the sides having neat panelled detail. The back is formed from one long solid piece of seasoned Elm.
Raised on four elegant tapering legs. A centuries old piece of English history that would suit the period or contemporary home.
