19th Century French Hallway Lantern

Antique Gilt Brass Pendant Light Fitting with Handpainted Glass Panels. Picked up on a recent trip to Provence in Southern France. Beautifully handpainted glass panels which really do illuminate wonderfully which these alternate with clear glass to let through some light and it allows you to see the painting on the reverse of the painted ones. It is in good vintage order, there is wear and tear here and there but this adds to it’s charm. It has also been completely and sympathetically rewired and then safety tested by our professional electrician.

Hanging 73cm high x 20cm wide. The hanging height could be reduced by shortening the chain

We are impassioned collectors who source from all over the world in pursuit of decorative antiques and vintage curiosities.

We sell an eclectic mix of furniture, homeware, mid-century design, industrial lighting and original artwork - all culminating into a modern aesthetic.  Our items are always authentic, full of character and a little out of the ordinary.

All our items are available to buy from our bricks and mortar shop in the heart of Bristol Old City or directly through our website.  However, as we have a fast turnover of stock, some pieces don't always make it online, so please do visit our call us if you have something specific in mind you are searching for.

We regularly work with interior designers helping them to furnish restaurants, bars and homes.

We ship nationally and internationally and offer free local delivery for many items.
