19th Century Wooden Hand Carved Tall Ship Picture

Antique Original Naive Hand Carved Painting

A five-masted British ship called the ‘Elsei’ from Ilfracombe in North Devon.

Hand-carved in relief and then painted, probably by a sailor.

The rigging is strung up with cotton.

In moulded wooden frame.

Overall it is in great vintage condition. There is a small amount of age-related wear and tear which adds to its charm and nothing serious enough to detract from the piece.

Overall measurements: 52cm x 36.5cm.

Delivery is £20 to Mainland UK. If you live elsewhere please get in touch for an accurate quote.

  • H: 36.5cm (14.37in)
  • W: 52cm (20.47in)
