Antique Alabaster & Marble Figural Table Lamp

This is a beautiful museum quality antique Art Deco carved alabaster and marble figural table lamp, by the German sculptor Ernst Seger (1868-1939) the base bearing his engraved signature.

The sculpture is in the form of a nude female seated on an alabaster conch shell, on a rectangular base. The nude female has been sensitively modelled in carrara marble with her head tilted to the left, her right arm on her bare shoulder. There is a light fitted inside the alabaster shell and this illuminates the sculpture superbly.

There is no mistaking its unique design and superb quality, which is certain to attract attention and make it a talking point in any room of your home.

In really excellent condition with no signs of damage, please see photos for confirmation.
