A Rustic Elm Console Table

A Gnarled and naturally bleached Elm Console table, late C19th/ early C20th. Most likely of Chinese origin and originally used as a scrub/washing table - much like its European counterparts, this table is now ideally suited as a slender rustic console table with wonderful time weathered appearance.

I have a passion for interior furnishings spanning the centuries from the C17th to the present day and I believe that they can combine to create modern interiors with flair and individuality. Using core principals of simplicity, style, elegance and quirky fun, I source furnishings to blend with and bring soul to a lifeless modern interior or take the stuffiness out of a more traditional furnishings scheme.

Clients are welcome to visit my large showroom at Gilsthwaite Lane, Kirkhammerton, York YO26 8DS.  Open Monday-Saturday, 9.30am-3pm. Other times by appointment.
