An Exceptional 1960s Marble Coffee Table

An enormous 1960s marble and steel Coffee Table with provenance. This rare table was a bespoke commision for the late Lord Feldman who appointed the pioneering post war Architect Ted Levy to re-model his house in Hampstead Heath, London. In situ since the late 1960s, this huge table with segmented and banded top was centre piece in a large sitting room which overlooked the garden. The table is in excellent condition with minor signs of wear and oxidisation to the base, according to it's age. An exceptional 160cm in diameter.

I have a passion for interior furnishings spanning the centuries from the C17th to the present day and I believe that they can combine to create modern interiors with flair and individuality. Using core principals of simplicity, style, elegance and quirky fun, I source furnishings to blend with and bring soul to a lifeless modern interior or take the stuffiness out of a more traditional furnishings scheme.

Clients are welcome to visit my large showroom at Gilsthwaite Lane, Kirkhammerton, York YO26 8DS.  Open Monday-Saturday, 9.30am-3pm. Other times by appointment.
