English Farmhouse - Impressionist Oil by Innes

English Farmhouse - Mid 20th Century Impressionist Oil by William Henry Innes

William Henry Innes (1905-1999)

Innes first exhibited his work during the Second World War while he was in the Royal Air Force. He showed extensively at the Royal Academy, New England Arts Club and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in the 1960s and 1970s. He was also a member of the Pastel Society. His work shows a preoccupation with the effects of light.
