19th C French White Metal Double Day Bed

STREETT MARBURG
This is the best example of a Napoleon III painted metal bed we have had. The ornate metal work, the lovely sleigh shape, the condition are all second to none. It's wonderfully cozy, yet surprisingly large. This can be used as bed, a day bad, a guest bed, it's fantastically versatile. Dressed with a selection of Charlotte's cushions and antique textiles.

Price includes a simple memory foam mattress and two feather filled round bolsters with covers handmade from antique French linen.

Streett Marburg has been a dealer of fine antique furniture for over 35 years. During which time he has gained a reputation for finding rare and beautiful pieces for the public and trade alike. Streett is a frequent exhibitor at both the Olympia International Art & Antiques Fair and The Decorative Antiques & Textile Fair Battersea.

He specialises in sourcing unique and eclectic pieces of fine English and Continental 18th, 19th and mid Century furniture, objets and textiles. Streett lives and works with his partner Charlotte Casadéjus, collaborating on the decorative side of Streett's business as well as on antique textiles.  Charlotte spends hours lovingly saving and restoring pieces of vintage and antique embroidery, appliqué, objets and other wonderful finds.

Recently, Charlotte and Streett have been having a great deal of fun picking up fantastic pieces of high quality 20th Century design in France, Italy and England. They specialise in the unusual and eclectic.
