Bespoke Brass & Chinoiserie Coffee Table

A 1970's Bespoke Brass & Chinoiserie Coffee Table by Berhnard Rohne for Mastercraft,

A one off design by Bernhard Rohne, famous for his acid etched designs, for a client in Palm Springs - this bold coffee table is unique. In a flamboyant Chinoiserie style popularised by James Mont in the 70's and 80's, the table has a lacquered Chinoiserie top, etched brass surround, chunky, curved legs and ebonised edging.

The table is sold with it's original bevelled brown glass top, although, we have photographed it without.

Circa: 1970

Origin: USA

Condition: In excellent vintage condition.
