19th century French painted wingback armchair

(On my website) If you would like this piece upholstered please click yes in the upholstery drop down menu. This chair would require 5 metres of material. You can supply your own or please browse our collections under the material section.

This is an extremely stylish 19th century French wingback armchair. It has stunning painted frame work with carved detail. There is age related wear to the paint which I feel only adds to the appeal of the piece. It has a very high quality frame with a lovely shape. The seat cushion is original as well. The legs are nice and tall making this and ideal chair for the corner of a room or reading chair. The chair has been full restored and is now ready for upholstery. This chair has fabulous proportions as well making it a very attractive.

My name is Matt Dixon and for as long as I can remember I have had a love for history and design which I find relate very closely.

Since starting up TallBoy Interiors 3 years ago, I have learnt so much about what works together and I find that you can mix modern and classic pieces to create a truly unique design.

I am not afraid to express myself through the items I buy as I believe your home should represent as much about you as the way you dress.  Everyone has their own style and that is what makes this business so interesting.

As trends change, the pieces that appear on the open market change, and that keeps me thinking of how it can work in a design.

I want to provide a service that is totally personal to the client and help them use their imagination to create something unique.
