Late 19th Century Church Statue Display Niche
For sale in this LOT is a very unique late 19th Century church statue display unit / arc. The item is made from original aged wood and still has its cast iron hanging support bracket attached. The item is painted in a highly decorative red interior and light green exterior. We feel this is a highly decorative piece of religious furnishing, which would look great either hung or placed at the end of a hallway or as a central wall feature with a statue placed inside it. We were considering placing a small spot light in the arc section of this item to highlight items placed inside, instead we decided to keep the item completely original.
NOTE: Statue is not included in the sale
Condition: This is an item dated late 19th Century so expect wear and tear in the form of loss of color across the paint, Scuffs across the surface, a crack to the back section, a light surface crack the left arc to the front. Regardless of its condition this is still a highly decorative item and is completely structurally secure. It’s strongly suggested to review all the photos provided as part of this advert.
