We are proud to offer a late 18th Century oil painting on canvas after the original by Peter Paul Rubens titled Marteldood Van de H. Laurentius now housed in a museum in Paris. This is a very well executed example with minor repairs as would be expected for an original artwork of this age. Has managed to survive without being ruined, the original stretched canvas can be viewed in the photos provided. A very decorative period painting with detail true to the original Ruebens masterpiece.

Condition: This item is completely solid in structure and form, fading and weathered across the surface is present. Some well executed dated repairs are present, the original 18th Century frame is solid is structure and firm in form. Its strongly suggested to review all close-up photos and propose questions before purchasing to avoid any disappointment.
