Pair of Late 19th Century Sailors Life Belt Frames
We are proud to offer a highly decorative and extremely rare pair of original folk art sailors life belt frames in completely original condition. These exquisite artefacts would have originally been made by sailors on ships “Russell” and “Talbot”. These items still have their original paint, ropes, and would have been made from sections of the ships the sailors sailed upon. These items would make wonderful ornate mirrors hung in a nautical themed bathroom or interior space. Circa 1880, United Kingdom.

Condition: These items are untouched and original in form, in overall good condition for their age. A light patina and cracking of hand painted sections in place is present (shown in the photos provided). There is a light discolouration due to its age, Please review all photos provided as part of this advert and propose question where anything is unclear.

Cancellation: We are unable to refund any item which is purchased unless the item is different from what is described in the advert stated. We go to a lot of effect to insure our customers are happy with their items. Therefore we strongly suggest the customer consider the purchase/view all pictures and close ups and propose as many questions via email before a purchase is considered. We do no refund our customers if they choose to change their mind about the purchase unfortunately, we will however offer a full refund of the item (excluding postage) if the item once received is not as described, faulty or damaged. This however can only take place within 48hr of the item being received by the customer. Once an item has been received and if a cancellation has been agreed by The House of Antiques management team, the customer is liable for the cost and insurance of postage if the item needs to be sent back to us in one of our stores.
