19th Century Chemist Drawers, Brixton London

THE SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL
A good run of original chemist drawers, third quarter of the 19th century in age, English in origin.

These originally where housed at A. Johnson Dyer Chemist Acre Lane Brixton London. With hardwood draw front, decorative moulding and a pine caucus.

The drawers have assortment of odd brass, bronze and cast iron knobs, a handful of drawers have their original paper linings and the odd internal label.

The majority of the drawers have their original hand painted gilt labels, with the remainder having paper labels were the draw contents has changed over time.

Age related wear as you would expect, still a solid and useful piece of decorative furniture.
