David Weake was a Welsh potter who lived at the Police House in Penybont and as well as being Head of Art at Llandrindod High School, was a celebrated potter and competent uni-cyclist. The locals remember him fondly from when every child in the Parish was given a brown and white mug in slipware in memory of the 1969 Investiture of the Prince of Wales.
