Antique Brass Repousse Fireplace Insert

An unusual brass fireplace insert featuring dragons and and a gentleman in 19th century dress, possibly Bach. We believe the plaque could be removed if required and the brass underneath polished. Good structural condition. No makers mark. Shown and supplied with a detachable hood. Polished brass finish. Circa 1880

Our impressive site in rural Herefordshire currently holds over 2,500 items.  Arranged around a courtyard, our site includes an 18th Century barn as well as three large modern warehouses.  We have dedicated showrooms displaying much of our extensive collection of unique and ever-changing architectural pieces.

We supply interior designers, architects, retailers and private clients across the world. Previous customers have included Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Claridge's and Warner Brothers.

In everything we do, we are mindful of our environmental and ethical responsibilities.  We do not sell any items containing ivory, tortoise shell or asbestos.
